Dorm On The First Floor

First floor apartments may be easier to break into since the windows are at street level.

No stairs to carry all my stuff up and down quick easy in easy out for classes etc. But i was in a first floor dorm room in kalapuya freshman year and i never felt unsafe. That said i like to think that being so close to the street and in easy view of onlookers discourages cat burglars. Unless we re home we don t leave our windows open which can make it a bit stuffy.

I think it really just depends on where the room is. I m an incoming freshman who will be living on the first floor of hume in the fall. It s the first quarantine on the campus since early september.
