Consecutive working 2008 stoneware and mixed media 130 x 130 x 90 cm all images. In july of 2019 hild completed her first major outdoor commission in the united states for alfred university. Her small scale ceramic sculptures and large scale metal ones have secured her position on the international art scene. Through hand building hild gradually builds up her sculptures change their direction and make connections.

Hild began her career making smooth ceramic vessels building clay into thin and fragile forms whose organic appearances belie their handcrafted nature. Eva hild s sculptures oscillate between polarities. With a masterly precision she creates sculptures of white stoneware shaped in swaying curls as if a movement was caught and frozen in time. Eva hild is a ceramic sculptor who lives and works in the southwest of sweden.
